From B1–B2 to C1–C2 — precision, register, literature, and mastery
You've finished a complete A1–A2 foundation and a complete B1–B2 intermediate course: the focus system, the verb-affix families, complex sentences, register, argument, idiom, and discourse. This advanced course covers what is left — and it is not more of the same. C1 finishes the grammar the intermediate course could only gesture at, then moves into the registers educated Filipinos actually read and write: academic prose, law and news, formal rhetoric, and regional speech. C2 goes where the language keeps its memory — verse, classical prose, proverbs, figurative depth, translation craft, and oratory.
Eighteen lessons, not twenty-four. The count comes from the material. The intermediate course already taught several topics other curricula park at C1, so the advanced course is built only from what is genuinely new — which means the lessons here run denser and longer, as they should at this level.
Every lesson keeps the tools you know: objectives, audio, a self-check quiz, interactive exercises, a journal, and progress tracking — with its own glossary, readings, cheat sheet, Anki deck, and can-do checklist.
